MagicTalk - The Official Discussion Group for Magicians

Welcome to MagicTalk! The Official Discussion Group for Magicians!

Welcome to the new and improved MT2.0!

In the early to mid 1990s, when the internet was still young, Magictalk.com became the place on the internet for magicians to gather and discuss magic performance, business and theory. It was a great time for all and several discussion were LEGEN-DARY!

Over time, the principal player involved with MagicTalk were pulled away by other projects, and MagicTalk slowly faded away and was replaced by other discussion forums.

A few weeks ago, I got a message from an "MT Original" on Facebook. He was remembering some of the great times we had there, and said 'I wish we could have MagicTalk back,' and I thought to myself 'Why can't we?' Long story short, I contacted Bryan Dean Toder the owner of MagicTalk and proposed a revival. Sensing the time was right, Bryan has agreed to let me revive MagicTalk!"

As you look through the forums you'll see that we have kept it tight. This is done on purpose, to help keep information and discussions from becoming too unwieldy. You'll notice that there are several exclusive forums and content providers, but this forum is intended to serve as the primary forum. Unfortunately, we could not create the original "long thread" format of the classic MT, but we hope that you will feel free to use this section to discuss ALL things magic. There is no division between closeup, stage, street, etc... We are all equals here!

Thanks for joining us for the next era in magic discussion!
